It's Time to Cut the Line and Move On

Sunday, October 18, 2026. Pastor Dr. Carlton Crockwell. “It’s Time To Cut the Line and Move On.” Isaiah 43: 18-19.
1. When the line becomes a lifeline: Sometimes a line that at one time kept us safe, can become restrictive. God has called us to grow and become mature. To hold on his lifeline which is the Word of God. When the seasons of life change, we must be strong enough to rely on the Word.
2. Recognizing that every attachment isn’t productive. We need to know why we are holding on to things. Is it fear, guilt or shame? There are some things that God wants us to let go of and to attach ourselves to his Word.
3. Trusting in the process. Letting go isn’t easy. But God will hold you through the process. Be faithful and learn to lean on Him.
4. Move before you’re really ready. Don’t hesitate in stepping out in Faith. Sometimes you may feel that you are not ready, that you’re are not strong enough. God has got you. Take the leap of Faith, lean into the wind and move on with the knowledge that with the lifeline of God’s Word, you will be safe.
