Special quarterly services for the women and men.

Fridaynightchurches, as required, we’ll hold workdays for the Church every quarter. Usually, they are called by the Building and Grounds Committee, and we all unite to support the needs of the Church when called upon. Please set aside these days when they are announced to help us maintain the church property and bless people for the Lord.

Fridaynightchurches within the Church, there is no distinction between male and female clergy or religious orders. Both sexes in the laity are allowed to assist in the Eucharist’s distribution and take on other tasks in the Church, such as catechesis. Fridaynightchurches, every four years, the downtown east side’s tiniest churches get together for a joint service. We engage, support, and hear from one another as we worship and study together. Women and men’s experiences, viewpoints, and engagement are equally important for the transformational renewal of the Church and society. Just gender relations are critical in responding to climate change, building a life economy, and promoting just peace and human dignity.

This strategy relies heavily on ecumenical theological education and leadership development. This involves thinking about what justice and peace mean for men and women in dehumanizing circumstances, and worldwide acts.
